Update: Entrecard has restored the account.

We were suprised to receive an e-mail from deleted@entrecard.com informing us that Yaw-Yan ArDigma website has been deleted from their network for failing to comply to one of there policies regarding blog quality.

“Content must be recent: Sites that have not been updated in 3 months will be removed.”

What does Yaw-Yan ArDigma Lose

Here is a brief traffic report on Yaw-Yan from September 14 to October 14, 2008

It shows here that 60% of the traffic last month were from search engines, 18.5% from referring sites of which only 39 visits came from Entrecard. We haven’t really been active on Entrecard lately which is the reason for the lack of traffic from their network. But carefully viewing the site makes it clear that we do regular updates on our site which is in line with Entrecard’s quality standards.

We still believe that Yaw-Yan ArDigma was deleted in error due to some admin not reviewing the site properly before pushing that button. A complaint has been sent as in as much as Entrercard values their networks quality, us here at yaw-yan.com also value our site’s integrity and getting deleted for quality standards from any network is one of those issues Yaw-Yan ArDigma takes seriously.

For the time being we have taken down the widget to avoid any confusion to our regular visitors or droppers.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma now sports a new design.

It still retains the red, black and white colors and simple box layout. The only problem I encountered with the new design is that I would have to re-upload every image we had on the site which is backed up on a local computer.

New Ad Server

Another addition to the site is the ability to for fully automated selling of advertisements using this wonderful product called OIOpublisher. Adverstisements can be purchased directly on the site or through the OIOpublisher Marketplace.
